OnePlus Nord – The Upcoming Affordable Smartphone

OnePlus was a brand which was used to be known as a flagship killer. They used to give the specification of a flagship device at an affordable price. But OnePlus has been steadily increasing the prices of its devices on a yearly basis and they are no longer called as flagship killer and are not affordable anymore since the last year. But now looks like OnePlus have rethought and they will be introducing the budget phones in their current lineup. Yesterday they have announced the “OnePlus Nord” to be the first device in this product series.

The goal of emerging this OnePlus Nord product line is to offer the premium OnePlus experience accessible to more users. In the recent announcement, Pete Lau has mentioned the below:

Official Specification:

• Snapdragon 765G processor
• 6.44-inch fluid AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution | 408ppi
• 90Hz refresh rate
• 6/8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM
• 128 GB/256 GB internal UFS 2.1
• 48MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle camera, 5MP Depth sensor, and 2MP Macro camera.
• 4115mAH lithium-ion battery
• Corning Gorilla Glass 5

The devices are to be launched in Europe and India for now but it’s planned to make it available in North America in the near future. It is suspected to be launched in India on 10-July-2020 where we will be getting more details about this OnePlus Nord product line.
100 pre-orders will be available today (01-July-2020 1:30 PM IST).
Also, OnePlus would be launching there new OnePlus TV on 02-July-2020, which will be high on the specification and low in pricing. The base model is priced at Rs 1X,999.
